LIVE IN DALLAS OR ATLANTA? BUY TICKETS TO THE DEATH TO ALL TOUR NOW
I find this both hard to believe and incredibly depressing, but it’s true — the Dallas, Texas and Atlanta, Georgia dates of this summer’s Death to All Tour are in danger of being cancelled due to low advance ticket sales.
This is the tour, in case you’ve somehow forgotten, that will reunited seven former members of the legendary Death (specifically Paul Masvidal, Shannon Hamm, Bobby Koelble, Gene Hoglan, Sean Reinert, Steve DiGiorgio, and Scott Clendenin), to play songs by that band, WITH Obscura’s Steffen Kummerer and Abysmal Dawn’s Charles Elliott handling vocal duties, AND Gorguts or Atheist opening, AND special guest appearances from members of Charred Walls of the Damned, Testament, Forbidden, The Black Dahlia Murder, Origin, Cattle Decapitation, Dååth, and Chimaira. THERE SHOULD NOT BE A METAL FAN IN THE ENTIRE FUCKING WORLD WHO DOESN’T WANNA GO TO ONE OF THESE SHOWS. And it’s not like there’s a dearth of metal lovers in Dallas and Atlanta — fuck, I’ve been to a show in Atlanta, and it was packed.
So why the fuck are these shows selling poorly?
If you haven’t already done so and live near either of these concerts, buy a ticket to the Texas show here or the Atlanta show here RIGHT AWAY. ‘Cause if you don’t, chances are these gigs will be cancelled by day’s end.
