IN FOR THE KILL (EX-NOTHINGFACE) ALBUM STREAM: CZECH THIS OUT, AXL!

What do ya’ know? Some ex-members of Nothingface have actually done something productive!

Nothingface were one of the most consistently unlucky and (perhaps) underrated rock/metal bands of their era, but since their third album Skeletons in 2003 they’ve done, well … nothing (HellYeah doesn’t count! — but you can check out their f’awesome new sawng right herr. But if wannabe-Pantera supergroups aren’t quite your speed, or even if Nothingface didn’t get you ragin’ back in the day, ex-bassist Bill Gaal’s new-ish “sounds-nothing-like-Nothingface” project In for the Kill is still worth checking out.

The power trio’s new record This Is the Sweetest Kind of Lie…You Are the Deadliest Surprise finds the departed bassist and former drummer Chris Houck channeling a lot more of Homme and Grohl than, say, Taylor and Jordison. And we’re not just talking Them Crooked Vultures “Homme & Grohl” — this is Songs for the Deaf-era right here, (i.e. the good sheat).
