GET YER SOULFUL, BLUESY, PSYCHEDELIC DOOM ON WITH ROYAL THUNDER

Have you guys checked out Royal Thunder yet? On the surface, their bluesy, ’70s-inspired doom metal isn’t anything you haven’t heard before, but vocalist Mlny Parsonz adds the wow factor that makes you pay attention. Her impassioned, soulful bellow adds an extra dimension to these songs that’s evident on record but even more impressive live; she can flat out wail. The rest of the band members certainly aren’t slouches, but let’s be honest, if not for Mlny’s powerful voice this band probably wouldn’t turn any heads.
