BUMMER ALERT: WATAIN TO MISS FIRST FOUR SHOWS OF THE DECIBEL MAGAZINE TOUR

So, the bad news is, Watain, most of the evil bands on the planet, have been felled by visa delays, one of the most evil bureaucratic acts in the world. As a result, the band will miss the first four stops on The Decibel Magazine Tour, which kicks off tomorrow in Columbus, Ohio.

The good news is, Behemoth, The Devil’s Blood, In Solitude, and a bevy of regional openers are all still playing — so these shows will still be awesome! Yes, it’s stinky for the fans at those four shows who won’t get to see Watain, but it’s not like they were the only great band on the bill. The lure of Behemoth playing in North America for the first time in more two years (actually more than two years if I’m not mistaken) alone should be enough to get your ass to a show. With all due respect to the other bands, they are very much icing on the cake. DELICIOUS icing, of course, but Behemoth were on tour with One Direction right now, you’d still have to go.
