“FIRE FROM THE SKY” RAINS DOWN UPON SHADOWS FALL
We’ve already seen a live bootleg of “Fire From the Sky,” the title track of the new Shadows Fall album — but now you can get a much better listen, thanks to Noisecreep, who have debuted the studio recording of the song.
Back when the band debuted the track live, vocalist Brian Fair described it as “a nice, slow death metal tune,” and the song does, indeed, have elephants marchin’ a-plenty. I really dig this kinda pace, although I know some metal fans get cranky about it; those fans can rest assured that there is plenty of blistering fast material on the rest of Fire From the Sky.
Headbang here, then let us know what you think of the Shads’ latest in the comments section below. Fire From the Sky comes out May 15 on Razor & Tie. And don’t forget that voting is now open for the contest we’re hosting with Talenthouse.com to create a new logo for the band!
