GET WELL, JERRY!

Today marks the first day of our Top 25 Modern Metal Drummers countdown, sure to get the MetalSucks readers super-stangry on a nightly basis when we release each pick every day at 5pm. Before we kick off the madness let’s send good thoughts towards the supremely talented King’s X drummer Jerry Gaskill, who suffered a heart attack on Saturday night. Doctors operated on Gaskill immediately and he’s said to be in stable condition. King’s X guitarist/vocalist Doug Pinnick posted an encouraging update on his Facebook page 8 hours ago:

Julie said Jerry woke up pulling chords out, she says hes fiesty! that’s a good sign! thanks everyone for prayers and good vibes! it can only get better now!!!
