… thankfully we have loyal readers who tell us. Grayson, GA-based rock band GRAYSON MANOR reports that the band will began recording their new album at Sound Instinct Studios in North Hollywood, CA today, May 7th, with Mike Clink (pictured at right with Steven Tyler) at the helm. Demo versions of the new songs are available on their MySpace page.

In 2006, Grayson Manor released their album Children of the Manor, produced by Robert Carranza (Jack Johnson, Beck), in Europe on Bad Reputation Records and in the U.S. on Cassette Recordings. In 2003, they released the self-produced “Back on the Rock” EP and spent the next couple of years on the road. Combined, the two discs have sold over 20,000 copies worldwide.

Mike Clink, whose other notable production credits include GNR‘s Use Your Illusion albums and MEGADETH‘s Rust in Peace, has laid low in recent years. Recent projects include MOTLEY CRUE‘s New Tattoo and Red, White and Crue as well as DURAN DURAN‘s Astronaut.
