VIDEO OF THE DAY: INCUBUS “PRIVELEGE” LIVE

Yes, ladies and gentleman, that’s right; once upon a time Incubus was in fact a hard rock band, and a really fucking good one at that. Before Incubus wandered off into a spacey left field mind trip to join the likes of Pearl Jam, these California boys knew how to bring the funk rock with a hard edge that was in fact so aggressive it got them very falsely labeled as nu-metal early on, though they would later go on to distinguish themselves and prove otherwise. “Privelege” was the lead track from 2000’s bigtime breakthrough Make Yourself, and though it was never released as a single it’s become a fan favorite. The band is on top of their game here, and the live video is proof that Brandon Boyd is one of the most naturally talented singers in all of rock music today.
