Modern death metal fans, rejoice! All Shall Perish’s new album, This is Where it Ends, is finally about to be unleashed upon the world, and it does not disappoint. “Divine Illusion” is one of the more vicious anti-religion creeds in recent memory, which is saying something, given that approximately one out of every five metal songs is an anti-religion creed; “Royalty Into Exile” is as catchy as melodeath comes; and “My Retaliation” just might be the anthem of the year (“I HOPE TO SEE YOU FUCKING DDDDDDIIIIEEEEE!!!!”). And that’s only three of the twelve tracks on the album!
