Mötley Crüe Wants to F*ck Up Your Vacation with Destination Festival Featuring Def Leppard, Extreme, and More
Have you ever gone to a nice tropical resort down in Mexico and thought to yourself “man, I wish I could be disappointed by some old, washed up rock stars.” If your answer is yes, then you’re in luck because Mötley Crüe and Def Leppard are putting on a special festival in Riviera Maya, Mexico called Rock The Tides.
Set to take place this November, the festival will feature some pretty big names from the 80s and early 90s. We’re talking bands like:
- Mötley Crüe
- Def Leppard
- Bret Michaels
- Extreme
- The Struts
- Buckcherry
- Dorothy
- Living Colour
- Moon Walker
- Velvet Daydream
Of course that means you’ll likely have to watch Mötley Crüe continue to fuck up their legacy. To that end, the band released a statement about the festival to Rolling Stone:
“Mexico has always been one of the most electric places we’ve played – the energy is just unreal,” said Mötley Crüe in a statement about the festival Rolling Stone. “Some of our most unforgettable shows have happened there, and we know this one will be no different. We’re excited to head back, team up with Def Leppard, and throw one hell of a party for everyone making the trip. It’s going to be an epic night.”
