Gojira Announce Additional U.S. Show with Loathe

Though they’ve already got a pretty beefy touring schedule for 2025, Grammy-winners Gojira announced a one-off date set for late September that’s got a few interesting tidbits associated with it. First off, it’s a show in Madison, Wisconsin at The Sylvee on September 23. Then there’s the fact that it’s a show with Loathe also on the bill.

But the biggest detail that stands out is the fact that Gojira opted to use their old logo at the top. For the uninitiated, Gojira used the logo in the admat below for their early demos Victim and Possessed. At that time, it was the mid-to-late 90s and Gojira was a death metal band called Godzilla. Naturally they had to change their name, but the rest is history.

So does this mean Gojira’s gonna play a set of exclusively old stuff? Probably not, but that would be pretty cool, wouldn’t it?
