Category 7 is Heading to South America for the First Time Ever

0

On their own, each member of supergroup Category 7 has been to South America multiple times. But thanks to a newly made announcement, we now know that an upcoming run of dates below the equator will be Category 7’s first taste of that region.

Set to kick off on July 3 in Argentina, the band will spend four more days in that country before heading to Chile and Brazil. The final date listed is September 12, but the location is marked as TBA, so once we know more, we’ll be sure to share it. Coming along on all those dates will be supporting act Clash Bulldogs, with other supporting bands to be named later.

For those that don’t know, Category 7 is comprised of John Bush (Armored SaintAnthrax), Mike Orlando (Adrenaline Mob, Sonic Universe), Phil Demmel (Machine HeadKerry KingVio-Lence), Jack Gibson (Exodus), and Jason Bittner (Shadows FallOverkill). Speaking of the tour, Demmel said he and the rest of the band were excited to head down to that part of the world.

“I couldn’t be more excited to launch our C7 storm down in South America with these shows this summer! We are ALL ready to unleash this band, and what better place to kick it all off but a place that LOVES its metal!! SEE YOU ALL SO SOON!!”
