Bleed Announces Self-Titled Debut Album, Drops First Single “Marathon”
Here’s a term I was today years old when I found out what it meant: nü-gaze. For the uninitiated, that’s basically described as 2000s alternative rock shown through the prism of the British shoegaze scene of the ’80s and ’90s. It’s also the style of music that Dallas-based band Bleed, whose debut self-titled album will be released on May 2.
To celebrate the announcement of their first full-length studio effort getting a release date, the band dropped a catchy, riffy single and accompanying music video titled “Marathon”. You can check out the song below and finally connect the concept of nü-gaze with a sound.
And if at the end of it all you find yourself enjoying the track, you can check out the band’s list of tour dates with One Step Closer.
Bleed will be released on May 2 via 20 Buck Spin, but you can preorder your copy today.
