Cadaver Drop Frenetic Single “Maltreated Mind Makes Man Manic”
Fans of high energy, trippy music take note — Norwegian death metal act Cadaver is gearing up to release a collection of previously unreleased and rare tunes Hymns Of Misanthropy next month. And while that should get you excited for what’s to come, the band released the wild and alliterative song “Maltreated Mind Makes Man Manic” onto streaming platforms.
According to the band, work on the track began all the way back in 1993 and it wasn’t finished until 2024, meaning it’s old enough to drink, drive, go to war, vote, and rent a car here in the states. As such, the song’s lineup of performers include founding guitarist and vocalist Anders Odden and drummer and vocalist Ole Bjerkebakke alongside double bassist Eilert Solstad.
Hymns Of Misanthropy will be released on April 25 via Listenable Records, but you can pre-order your copy today. The collection’s full tracklist, as well as Cadaver’s 2025 tour plans, can be found below.
