BREAKING: Jet Owned by Mötley Crüe’s Vince Neil Involved in Runway Crash, One Person Dead
One person is dead after a jet owned by Mötley Crüe frontman Vince Neil collided with another jet while traveling down the runway at Scottsdale Airport in Arizona. Multiple local news reports say the accident took place at approximately 2:45 p.m., prompting emergency crews to rush to the scene.
According to a report from the Federal Aviation Administration, a “Learjet 35A veered off the runway after landing and crashed into a Gulfstream 200 business jet on the ramp.” The plane in question was registered to Chromed in Hollywood, a private charter plane business owned by Neil and based out of Franklin, Tennessee. Data from ADS B Exchange shows the flight originated from Austin, Texas this afternoon.
Fire officials at the scene reported that three people on board the plane were hospitalized, another was trapped within the plane for “an extended period of time,” and one person was found dead at the scene.
