Drain Announce Australia and New Zealand Tour Dates Around New Bloom Fest Appearance

Good things are happening lately for California-based hardcore/thrash band Drain. Besides the fact that they were recently announced for all three dates of the revived Warped Tour, they also announced back in November that they were playing all three days of the New Bloom Festival in Australia in March and that they plan to release a new album in 2025. Oh, and they’re playing Inkcarceration in June, too. With all that going on, what more could you possibly ask for from them? Well, apparently they’re not satisfied with all that, because they also announced a set of Australia and New Zealand tour dates around their appearance at the New Bloom Fest.

The band announced their Australian and New Zealand dates yesterday on social media, with Pennsylvania-based melodic hardcore darlings One Step Closer coming along as support. The tour, which marks Drain’s first ever dates in New Zealand, kicks off a few days before the beginning of New Bloom Fest in Sunshine Coast in Queensland, then hits up all three traveling dates of the New Bloom Festival, before heading to Hobart in Tasmania and then two days in New Zealand.
