Cradle of Filth’s New Album Now Coming This March, “To Live Deliciously” Out Now

0

Earlier this month, Cradle of Filth frontman Dani Filth revealed the name of the band’s new album (The Screaming Of The Valkyries) in a Metal Hammer interview and suggested that it would be coming out this April. Yet in the band’s official announcement released just moments ago, it seems we’re getting it a whole month earlier than initially expected.

Now releasing on March 21 via Napalm Records, The Screaming Of The Valkyries is the band’s follow up to 2021’s Existence is Futile and features nine new tracks including the previously released “Malignant Perfection”. Just also keep in mind that the Ed Sheeran collaboration is also predictably nowhere to be found.

In addition to the album’s official reveal, the band also dropped its second single and the album’s opener, “To Live Deliciously”. Speaking of the track itself, Filth said it’s really just one big “celebration of life”.

“The song is about the celebration of life. Of indulging in everything unfettered from the conformities of religion, fashion or state. Free from guilt or constraint. As nature intended.

“It could be read as a hedonistic life code. And a positive one if not done at the expense or the suffering of others.

“To delight in simply’ being’. Being alive and free in the here and now.”

The Screaming Of The Valkyries will be released on March 21 via Napalm Records, but you can preorder your copy today.

Cradle of Filth will also be co-headlining the Chaos & Carnage tour with Dying Fetus. You can check out the full list of tour dates below.
