Castle Rat Announce Their First Headlining Tour

Castle Rat might look and sound like they’d fit right into the background of a Dio music video, but they’re actually a fantasy doom metal band hailing from the mystical lands of Brooklyn, New York. For the first time ever, they’re getting all of the spotlight as they announced their first-ever headlining tour earlier today.

Dubbed ‘The Realm’s Heroes Tour’, this run of 16 stops will run from March 13 in Baltimore until March 30 in New York City. Along the way they’ll hit some major areas across the U.S., including Atlanta, Dallas, and Chicago.

If you’ve never heard of Castle Rat, we’ve had the pleasure of premiering their “Dagger Dragger” music video. With redheaded vocalist Riley Pinkerton leading the charge, the band utilizes a more retro sound that really feels at home in the sludge/doom realm.
