Ice Nine Kills Raise Over $100,000 for L.A. Wildfire Relief with Special Edition T-Shirt

With all the news of the devastation in Los Angeles amidst the recent wildfires, it’s nice to hear some good news on the subject for a change. Boston-based metalcore band Ice Nine Kills recently released a new t-shirt design called “Heed the Call for California” with 100% of the proceeds going to victim funds and disaster relief for the wildfires in California. According to Blabbermouth, the t-shirt sales have already raised over $100,000 for the cause.

In a statement reported on by Blabbermouth, frontman Spencer Charnas shared:

“The band began on the East Coast, but we consider Los Angeles our second home. Most of us live in California, and like many people here, we felt powerless as we watched the devastation unfold. However, our global community of supporters and friends is strong. We knew that if we called on them for help, they would rise to the occasion, and they have.

“We are proud to stand alongside other musicians, creatives, and workers in our industry to support the ongoing relief efforts in any way we can.”

The t-shirt design features the Ghostface Killer dressed as a firefighter, which seems like the last person I would ever want coming to my house in an emergency. Or ever, for that matter. But hey, it’s a cute design for a good cause.

If you want to pick up the shirt for yourself, you can do so at this link. If, on the other hand, you’re one of the people who always comes into our comments section to talk shit about Ice Nine Kills and would like to support disaster relief without buying the t-shirt, you can do so at this link.
