System of a Down, Korn, Deftones, and Avenged Sevenfold to Play Three Stadium Shows in ’25

0

If you’re in the camp that thinks a distinct lack of bands like System of a Down, Deftones, Avenged Sevenfold, or Korn were a major contributing factor to why Sick New World failed to launch in 2025, then this new bit of news might just get you stoked after all. Within the last hour, all four of those aforementioned bands were part of an announcement for three special stadium shows that’ll kick off next year.

Headlined by System of a Down, the shows will be set to take place at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, NJ, on August 28 with Korn as the opener; Soldier Field in Chicago, IL, on August 31 with Avenged Sevenfold; and at Rogers Stadium in Toronto, ON, on September 3 with Deftones. Coming along for all three dates will also be Polyphia and Wisp.

It’s important to note that Avenged Sevenfold has gone on record to say they’ll only be playing a single U.S. date next year and it looks like this is it.

Tickets for all three shows will go on sale to the general public this Friday, December 13 at noon local time. Artist presales will kick off this Wednesday, however, with additional presales set to kick off throughout the week. So if you want to attend a show, you’ve got multiple avenues of attack to make sure you get your hands on some tickets.
