Chelsea Wolfe, Blood Incantation, Sonja and More Added to Fire In The Mountains Festival
Every time we report on next year’s Fire In The Mountains Festival, it keeps sounding better and better. Not just because it’s going to be located in some pristine American wilderness and prime camping spots amid a bevy of metal madness — but because the lineup keeps getting better and better.
Earlier today, organizers announced that on top of an already stacked lineup, they’ve added Chelsea Wolfe, Sonja, Sage Bond, Wallowing Bull, and Blood Incantation, who will be playing a special Timewave Zero set.
In addition to the list of bands, the festival will feature a number of exciting experiences in front of the Rocky Mountains, in the pursuit of art, education, food, workshops, social responsibility, and adventure.
It should be noted that the festival is taking place at the Red Eagle Campground in Glacier, Montana in partnership with the Blackfeet Nation. Taking place from July 25 to 27 next year, the festival is centered around community, music, and the natural world. Given the fact that the festival is so intimately intertwined with the indigenous population, it’s got the unique chance of being something more than just an open-air metal festival.
It’s also important to note that since the festival is taking place on Blackfeet Nation land, the festival is a completely dry event. That means no booze, drugs, or any other intoxicants.
