Glassjaw and Revelation Records Join Forces for Limited Release of Don Fury Sessions
There had been some rumblings in recent weeks that this sort of thing was happening, but it looks like we finally have the official announcement. Glassjaw is going to be releasing their own Don Fury Sessions this coming March.
Announced earlier today, the Don Fury Sessions were recorded all the way back in 1998 at New York City’s Don Fury Studio. What happened during those sessions became what’s being called “the beginning of the materialization of Glassjaw’s full depth of sound and creativity.” That event ultimately led to the creation of their debut album Everything You Ever Wanted To Know About Silence.
The tracks have been mastered personally by Don Fury and the results have been put together and pressed to just 1998 copies in opaque (canary) yellow. You can get your hands on this special edition on March 7, 2025, but I’d suggest pre-ordering a copy ASAP.
