Buckcherry Expect to Release a New Album in Spring 2025
Buckle up, you crazy bitches, because it’s time for Buckcherry to serve up their normal cocktail of AC/DC-inspired sleaze and a level of misogyny that would make Dr. Dre uncomfortable. The 11th studio album from the California hard rockers was apparently recorded earlier this month and will see the light of day sometime around spring of 2025.
In a recent interview with Laughingmonkeymusic (that was transcribed by Blabbermouth), Buckcherry guitarist Stevie Dacanay gave an update on the upcoming 11th album:
“We’re gonna do a 10-song album like we normally do. We got together with Marti Frederiksen at a couple points in this past year to songwrite and then we also demo at my studio in California. And we wrote — I don’t know — maybe 20-plus songs. And we always whittle that down to 10 songs. So I would like to tell you the name of the album, but it’s not named yet. But it is the eleventh album for BUCKCHERRY… And it will come out probably next year, spring sometime.”
Marti Frederiksen is a pretty well-known name behind the scenes in rock and pop music, having previously worked with Aerosmith, Mötley Crüe, Ozzy Osbourne, Carrie Underwood, Faith Hill, and more. But if you don’t know him for his production work, you might recognize him as being the person who did the lead vocals for the fictional band Stillwater in Cameron Crowe’s famous 2000 rock film Almost Famous.
If you want to catch Buckcherry in the meantime, they’ll be on the ShipRocked Cruise from January 19-25 with the likes of Parkway Drive, Hollywood Undead, Atreyu, The Ghost Inside, P.O.D., and a lot more. They’ll also be opening for Scorpions during their Las Vegas residency on February 27 and March 1-11.
