All Right, Partnah… Limp Bizkit’s in the Studio Working on New Music, Baybay

0

Hot off their ‘Loserville’ tour and a couple years removed from the release of their latest album Still Sucks, it looks like nu-metal giants Limp Bizkit are back in the studio. Whether that’s great news or the worst thing you’ve read all day will likely depend on whether you’ve got a red Yankees cap or not.

We know this is happening because the band posted images to their Instagram stories of drummer John Otto in the studio “bout to track drums.” We don’t know if the new music will be released as an EP or a full-length LP or if it’s just gonna be a one-off single covering Marvin Gaye. At this point in their career, it’s all up in the air, really.

This would also be the fastest turn around for a new Limp Bizkit album in a long time. We’re far beyond removed from the days of the band dropping Significant Other in 1999 and then following it up with Chocolate Starfish and the Hotdog Flavored Water in 2000. Still, we don’t know when we could expect to hear the new tunes, so we could still be a looong way away from an official release.

In the meantime, Limp Bizkit has a European tour lined up for next year, with openers BONES, Ecca Vandal, N8NOFACE, Karen Dió, and host Jon Carnage, so that’s something to be excited about for our friends across the pond. You can find the full list of dates and get your tickets below.
