Exodus, Dismember, Pig Destroyer and More Announced for Decibel’s Metal & Beer Fest

The City of Brotherly Love is once again going to play host to one of the more exciting two-day events of the year when Decibel Magazine puts on its Metal & Beer Fest: Philly next April. And judging by the lineup of beers and bands already set for the event, this one’s gonna be a doozy.

Set to take place on April 4 & 5 at The Fillmore, the annual fest will feature night one headliner Exodus playing all of Bonded By Blood plus some hits, while the second night’s closer Dismember has committed to playing the entirety of their album Like An Ever Flowing Stream with other fan favorites as well. That right there should be exciting enough for fans of either band, but the rest of the evenings will be filled out by the likes of Pig Destroyer, Darkest Hour (playing an Undoing Ruin set), Demolition Hammer, Sonja, and more.

As for the beer side of things, a number of exciting breweries will be on tap and present to showcase their sudsy libations. The beer selection will include offerings from 3 Floyds Brewing, WarPigs Brewing, Magnanimous Brewing, Adroit Theory Brewing Company, Incantation Brewing, and so many more.

Speaking of the event, 3 Floyds’ Brewmaster Chris Boggess said he was once again stoked to participate in the annual two-day fest.

“I feel like I say this every year, but this fest just keeps getting sicker every year! As soon as the lineup is announced we start counting down the days for Metal & Beer Fest. Metal, beers, maniacs, old and new friends—what’s not to love? We wouldn’t miss it for the world, and hopefully you don’t either! See ya there.”

If any of that sounds like it’s right up your alley and you want to make sure you don’t miss this (and you definitely don’t want to miss it), you can check out the ticket information over at Decibel‘s website
