Full of Hell and Andrew Nolan Join Forces for Upcoming Collab Album Scraping The Divine
No strangers to working well with others, grind/noise band Full of Hell are back again with their collaborative selves, this time working with Toronto-based industrial artist Andrew Nolan on a forthcoming album Scraping The Divine. To mark the occasion, they released the album’s first single, “Burdened By Solar Mass.”
As you could expect when mixing an industrial artist with a noise/grind band, the song in question is discordant and furious. Full of Hell’s Dylan Walker described the single as “the first meeting point between Full of Hell and Andrew Nolan. The end product is an amalgam of mangled guitars and dub pulses and an ominous warning about our own insignificance in the universe.”
Apparently the album was worked on between 2019 and 2023, with both artists contributing their unique sounds to the project. In addition to the two artists, the album has special guest features from Taichi Nagura (Endon), GxCx (Contagious Orgasm, BBVGC, ex-Guilty Connector), Justin K Broadrick (Godflesh, Jesu, JK Flesh), Intensive Care, and Alex Hughes (Hatred Surge, Holy Money).
Scraping The Divine will be available on November 15 via Closed Casket Activities, but you can preorder your copy today.
