The Osbournes Will Make a Rare Public Appearance at California Horror Convention

0

Just in time for spooky season to really kick off, the “Prince of Darkness” himself Ozzy Osbourne will be making a rare public appearance, along with the rest of his brood. Fans attending this year’s Son of Monsterpalooza have a chance to meet the man himself, along with Sharon, Kelly, and Jack — as long as you pony up enough cash, that is.

Taking place from October 12 to 13 at the Marriott Burbank Convention Center in Burbank, California, Son of Monsterpalooza is a horror and special FX make up convention that’s been going on since 2012. Each year it features about 150 exhibitors and bunches of celebrities for fans to meet, take pictures with, and get shit signed.

News of this appearance comes a couple months after Ozzy had to cancel a similar engagement due to health concerns.

Metalheads attending the show can get their chance to meet the Black Sabbath frontman and his family, but only if they purchase the special photo op and autograph package, dubbed “The Ultimate Sin VIP Package”. All you need is a ticket to the convention and an additional $699 to buy said package, which includes the following:

  • (1) 8×10 signed photo of Ozzy, Sharon, Jack & Kelly
  • (1) Group pro photo op with Ozzy, Sharon Jack & Kelly. The group photo op is limited to one adult attendee per photo (may also have one child under 7).
  • The option to purchase a solo pro photo op with Ozzy.
  • The option to purchase add on autographs from Ozzy.

You read that right — you’ll also have to pay extra for a picture with just you and Ozzy, as well as if you want to get something other than a photo signed by the man himself. If you don’t have anything extra to have him sign and want to buy something there to get his John Hancock on, you can absolutely do that — for a price. As such, here’s the list of things they’ll have on hand for you to buy just so Ozzy can sign it:

  • Standard:
    • Photographs or Books: $200
  • Premium Items:
    • Albums, Toys or Large Posters: $250
    • Microphones: $500
    • Guitars/Pick guards: $700
  • Solo Photo Ops (available for pre-purchase online):
    • Ozzy: $325

Being Ozzy is lucrative as fuck, man. But if you want to get additional stuff signed or a photo with any of the other family members, there’s naturally an additional cost. If you want an autograph or selfie, it’s $40 each per family member. If you want both, it’s $60 per family member. Meaning if you want to do both with all three other family members, that’s gonna cost ya an additional $180.

But let’s be real — if you’re a huge Osbournes fan or just want to be in the room with a soon-to-be two-time Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Inductee, now’s your chance. Ozzy isn’t exactly out there on the autograph and photo circuit these days due to his physical ailments. If you can afford the costs and don’t mind making it out to California, you can absolutely do this.

Tickets for the convention are available right now, along with tickets for the ‘Ultimate Sin Package’.
