Karnivool, Melvins, Kylesa, and More Announced for Arctangent Festival 2025

The laundry list of festivals over in Europe may largely be winding down as the colder months start rolling in, but that doesn’t mean you can’t start planning next year’s excursions now. Earlier today, organizers involved with the annual Arctangent Festival in the U.K. announced not just the bill’s first headliner in Karnivool, but they unveiled the first set of bands that have signed up to play the gig.

According to a release from the folks behind the fest, next year’s festival will be Arctangent’s 10th anniversary. As such, they’re trying to pull out the stops by announcing a bunch of the bands that will play when the show kicks off on August 13, 2025 and continues until it shuts down on August 16.

Other bands named to the festival include Kylesa, Rolo Tomassi, Melvins, and Between The Buried And Me, among others. Festival organizer and booker James Scarlett said the whole team behind next year’s proceedings were excited to see how things will shake out.

“We go again! We’ve already got some huge reunions in the form of Kylesa, Adebisi Shank and Vessels, plus some legendary albums in full from The Fall Of Troy, We Lost The Sea and Between The Buried And Me. We’re also delighted to welcome Melvins and our Friday headliners, Karnivool, to their first ever ATG. We’re starting as we mean to go on – ArcTanGent 2025 is going to be ridiculous!”

Speaking of their involvement with the festival, Karnivool said they were excited to play the show next August.

“How good is music? It thrills us from our collective hearts, excited to be circling the round round globe just to play this one show with some amazing acts and friends, Arctangent see you there! How good is music?”
