Dave Grohl Admits to Giving His Best, His Best, His Best to Another Woman and Fathering a Baby Girl

Wow, talk about some unexpected news. Within the last hour, Foo Fighters frontman and former Nirvana drummer Dave Grohl announced on his Instagram page that he was going to have another daughter! Yayyyyyyy! But the mother’s not his wife, but rather some other woman outside of wedlock. ……Yikes.

In his statement to fans and I guess… the whole world… Grohl said he planned to “be a loving and supportive parent” to the child. He also said he’s trying to do whatever he can to regain the trust of his wife Jordyn Blum, along with the rest of his family, given the monumental lapse of judgment he’s now forced to face head on.

Of course, this is the internet so the announcement’s spawned a million takes and memes and whatnot in a short amount of time. As big a rockstar as Grohl is, he’s always had a sort of “good guy” persona. Sure, he likes to drink and get extremely over-caffeinated from time to time, but he’s always seemed like a chill dude. Whether this news tarnishes his image in any meaningful way to undo some of that good will, we’ll have to see.

Grohl and Blum have been married for 21 years and they have three daughters together. Prior to their marriage, Grohl was married to Jennifer Leigh Youngblood, but that relationship ended in 1997 when he — get this — admitted to cheating on her.

…Maybe this isn’t so much of a shock as it should be?
