Alicia Taylor Calls Destroy Boys Guitarist a “Failed Homewrecker” for Trying to Steal Corey Taylor Away

Over the past few days, Alicia Taylor, wife of Slipknot frontman Corey Taylor and founder of performance and dance troupe Cherry Bombs, has been tweeting angry. Lately, she’s been posting tweets calling out Violet Mayugba, guitarist for art-punk band Destroy Boys, for being a “failed homewrecker” and allegedly trying to steal her husband. You won’t have to ask “But what does Alicia Taylor think?” on this one, because she’s definitely letting you know. The first tweet, which came on August 31, read:

“There are women out there who legit think it’s a power move to TRY and coerce taken men to cheat w them. And when their plan doesn’t work, they throw a fit.

“Violet Mayugba you garbage eater. You’ve done this to so many other couples but never with someone like me in the mix.”

The accusations are absolutely wild, as is the insult “garbage eater’ — sounds like something you’d say in the second grade. Still, Alicia Taylor continued by saying:

“She wanted to keep my husband sick while I wasn’t around. He lost all that weight? She applauded it, tried to butter him up with compliments about how he looked. She wanted to keep him sick. I will never forgive her for the evil she has brought upon my family.”

She doesn’t elaborate on what she means about being “sick” but Corey Taylor did admit at the beginning of the year that he’s had a breakdown over the past year that almost resulted in him relapsing from his addiction. Another one of the absolutely wild accusations is that Mayugba put her own phone number in the Taylors’ youngest child’s iPad when no adults were around in hopes that it would get to Corey Taylor.

Alicia Taylor says she tried to confront Mayugba privately and that Mayugba apologized to her but then later went back on her word to stop, even showing her texts with Mayugba as proof. Alicia Taylor also claimed that Mayugba has been trying the same thing with members of Sevendust, Blink-182…and Creed?! Creed? Really, Creed?! Do they take you higher?

Alicia Taylor offered to reimburse anyone for their Destroy Boys concert tickets if they became disillusioned with the band and sent a video of themselves tearing up their ticket.
