Marilyn Manson Releases First Comeback Single “As Sick As The Secrets Within”
After all the decades that Marilyn Manson has spent mocking organized religion, he has finally disproven the existence of a just and loving god by releasing his first new single following allegations against the singer of abuse, grooming, and sexual assault. Considering this song was released by a big-name metal label, Nuclear Blast, and he’s still moving forward with his fall US tour, it seems extremely unlikely that god exists or, if he does, that he gives a shit about what happens to any of us.
The new song is called “As Sick As The Secrets Within,” a title that sounds like a vague reference to the sick shit that Manson has been accused of recently. In fact, the lyrics, which are full of vague, dark imagery, so one could make the connection that it’s potentially be about the allegations against him.
The most recent chapter of the drama around the embattled shock rockers came just a few weeks ago when Bianca Allaine Kyne revealed herself in a Rolling Stone report to be the “Jane Doe” named in two lawsuits against Manson. Kyne alleges that she was coerced into inappropriate situations with Manson when she was underage and was coerced into sex multiple times as well.
There have been multiple other lawsuits against Manson for abuse and sexual assault, many of which have been dismissed or settled out of court. Yet his comeback seems to be moving forward, anyway. If the allegations are true, then Manson truly is as sick as the secrets within.
Normally, this would be the point in the article where we embed the song so you can listen to it, but instead, please enjoy this stock footage of a monkey washing a cat.
