Fleshgod Apocalypse to Co-Headline North American Tour with Shadow of Intent This Fall
Yet another tour slated for later this year was announced today, only this time it’s a co-headlining effort between Italian symphonic death metal outfit Fleshgod Apocalypse and American symphonic/melodic deathcore act Shadow of Intent.
Dubbed ‘The Black Opera Across North America’, the tour obviously draws on the forthcoming album from Fleshgod Apocalypse, Opera, is due out August 23 via Nuclear Blast Records.
The tour will kick off on September 14 in Cleveland, Ohio and come to an end on October 15 in Denver, Colorado. Coming along for the tour will be supporting acts Ingested, The Zenith Passage, and Disembodied Tyrant.
Speaking of the tour, Fleshgod Apocalypse frontman Francesco Paoli said he was excited to get back on the road in North America following that climbing accident that left him severely injured.
“We’re overly excited to announce the ultimate extreme symphonic metal experience across North America, which we’ll have the honor to headline along with our long-time friends Shadow of Intent.
“It’s going to be an event you don’t want to miss, with the best clubs, a top-notch line-up and our most spectacular show to date.

Tickets for the tour will go on sale this Friday, June 28 at 9 a.m. local. That being said, artist presales will start tomorrow at 9 a.m. PST/noon EST and local presales will start this Thursday, June 27 at 9 a.m. local, so you’ll have multiple opportunities to get your tickets.
