Sanguisugabogg Release New Single “Permanently F*cked”
Today, Ohio death metal band with the easiest band name in the world to pronounce, Sanguisugabogg, put out their first single since February of last year when they released their album Homicidal Ecstasy. The new song, called “Permanently Fucked,” was recorded during the sessions for Homicidal Ecstasy, but didn’t make it onto the 2023 album. It was recorded and produced by Cody Davidson of Fix My Face Records and mixed by Kurt Ballou of Converge and God City Studio.
This is what the band had to say about the new single on their Instagram:
“The meaning of the song is a drastically blown out of proportion way of showing how much you love someone. I got inspiration of the song from the 2018 horror film Pet where Dominic Monaghan’s character volunteers himself as a vice for Ksenia Solo’s character so she can torture and humiliate them and they’re bound to their cage so she doesn’t free the urge to murder someone instinctively and doesn’t get arrested or imprisoned for killing people.”
Sounds like the feel-good track of the year, doesn’t it? The band promised a new music video for the song coming later today. If you want to catch Sanguisugabogg live, they’re currently on tour in Europe before returning to North America for a tour supporting Lorna Shore alongside Whitechapel and Kublai Khan TX.
