Over the years, we’ve had the pleasure of going out into the real world to touch some grass, fire up the ol’ camera, and get some in-person reactions to some of today’s more extreme metal bands. Sometimes we even got the artists themselves to come out and share their tunes with the unsuspecting masses.

Believe it or not, but metal just isn’t everyone’s cup of tea. Some people even recoil, wince, shrug, or cower when faced with the face pummeling sound and fury of bands like Revocation, Firespawn, and Bloodbath. We even got the kids involved — though they weren’t particularly enthused, too…

And despite it all, everyone walked away from each experience hopefully understanding that in the words of one of the folks in the video, “metal will never fucking die, bro.” Damn straight, lady. Damn straight.
