Zao to Release First Two EPs as Special Edition Record
Metalcore outfit Zao are planning to release a new 12-inch compilation album titled Steadfast Records: The First Two Seven Inches. It will drop on CD and vinyl on July 12 and combine tracks from their early offerings into a new release.
The band say on social media about the release:
“Available now for Pre-Order “Steadfast Records: The First Two Seven Inches”. A 12-inch compilation.
“Bringing together tracks from “The Tie That Binds,” a split 7″ with Outcast from Dayton, OH, released in 1995, and “Treadwater…,” a split 7″ with Through and Through from BC, Canada, released shortly after in 1996. The audio has been meticulously remastered by Adam Boose at Cauliflower Audio. The first half of the album includes the Zao track, “Security,” intended for the original 7″ but omitted due to time constraints. (This track later appeared on a CD reissue).
“Presented with brand new artwork, “Steadfast Records The First Two Seven Inches” is pressed on 100% recycled Eco-Mix vinyl, and packaged in a beautiful reverse board jacket, accompanied by a double-sided 12″ uncoated paper insert.
“Limited to 400 copies worldwide, and pressed on four unique 100% recycled Eco-Mix vinyl variants, each limited to 100 copies.
“Vinyl images are mockups, and will vary somewhat from the final product. Eco-Mix vinyl, crafted from 100% recycled materials, ensures each LP is unique.
