“Voice Issues” Forced Armored Saint to Cancel a Pair of Weekend Shows

Fans of Armored Saint were left disappointed over the weekend, as the band was forced to axe their sets supporting Queensrÿche due to what was described as John Bush‘s “voice issues.” The affected shows were supposed to happen on Saturday, May 4 at Lovedrafts in Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania and Sunday, May 5 at The Fillmore in Charlotte, North Carolina.

Armored Saint has been out on tour supporting Queensrÿche since late March, playing all over the U.S. with some additional stops in Canada. There’s no information about what seemed to be ailing Bush, but they hope some rest will help address the problem. The band isn’t scheduled to perform again until tomorrow, May 7 in Atlanta, Georgia.

Here’s hoping that Bush can get better soon. No one likes to hear a band can’t play a show for health reasons and we all want him to get better so he can put that Bush-Thrax tour together that we all so desperately want.
