Avenged Sevenfold, Disturbed, Slipknot and More Announced for This Year’s Rocklahoma

There’s going to be a whole lot of huge shows this summer, but one of the biggest here in the U.S. was just announced and the lineup doesn’t disappoint. Just take a look at the lineup below for Rocklahoma 2024 and tell me that doesn’t look like a good time.

Set to take place from Friday, August 30 to Sunday, September 1 at the Rockin Red Dirt Ranch in Pryor, Oklahoma and hosted by Eddie Trunk, this year’s festivities will see massive bands like Slipknot, Disturbed, and Avenged Sevenfold share the stage with the likes of Bad Wolves, Faster Pussycat, and Kim Dracula.

Seriously, the amount of rock and metal set for that weekend is bonkers. This year sees Slipknot and Distrubed returning to the festival’s headlining spots, while it also welcomes Avenged Sevenfold to the top of the bill for the first time ever. Distrubed frontman David Draiman said he and his fellow bandmates were excited to be back for this year’s festival.

“Disturbed is coming back to headline Rocklahoma this year. Fresh off our sold out North American and Australian tour and our #1 song ‘Don’t Tell Me,’ featuring our friend and icon Ann Wilson of Heart, we are firing on all cylinders right now. We can’t wait to bring it to Oklahoma this upcoming Labor Day Weekend. Along with our brothers and sisters in Slipknot, Avenged Sevenfold, Evanescence, Halestorm and so many others, we will cya there…”

The lineup announcement comes less than 24 hours after it was revealed that Danny Wimmer Presents (DWP) had acquired the festival, thus adding it to the company’s already huge portfolio of top live music events. Though it’s under new management, the show’s organizers said they will continue working with its original creators Pryor Creek Music Festivals (PCMF). Dave Giencke, founder, vice president, and general manager of PCMF said the changing of the guard was ultimately a good thing for the event as a whole.

“With DWP’s esteemed reputation for curating exceptional music festivals, we are optimistic about the bright future ahead.”
