WHORES. Drop New Single and Announce U.S. Tour

Atlanta-based noise rock band WHORES. have their new album WAR. coming out on April 16. “WAR. by WHORES.” is probably one of the hardest albums to pronounce in the history of music. Try saying that one a bunch of times fast. The new album was recorded, mixed, and mastered by Ryan Boesch (Melvins, Helmet) and promises to be more fun to listen to than it is to say.

The band just dropped the new single “SICKO” and it’s absolutely sick. (See what I did there?) In a statement reported on by Metal Injection, vocalist and guitarist Christian Lembach explains a little bit about the background behind “SICKO”:

“‘SICKO’ is a song about finding strength through suffering. I’ve gone through so many injuries in the past few years, and now that I’m finally on the other side I can see that nothing will stop me. If anything, my resolve is stronger than it’s ever been. That sickness set me free. WAR.”

Every statement sounds cooler when you just randomly end it by saying “WAR!” WHORES. are embarking on a United States tour, including a couple of festivals, with the bulk of the dates being late-May through June. Check out the full list of dates below.
