Vltimas Share New Single “Invictus”
Hailing from various parts of the world, blackened death metal outfit Vltimas have released another single from their upcoming album Epic, titled “Invictus.” It’s the third new track off the album, which is releasing on March 15 via Season of Mist records.
Featuring David Vincent, formerly of Morbid Angel; Rune Erikson, formerly of Mayhem; and Flo Mounier of Cryptopsy; Dutch bassist Ype TVS (ex-Dodecahedron); and Portuguese guitarist João Duarte (Corpus Christii), the band’s definitely got the chops to reach the heights found in this track.
As you can probably tell from the clip below, Vltimas pulls in elements from each of the members’ other bands to create. something all its own. It celebrates all the tremolo picking, blasting, and epic vocal lines that the band is known for, but with even more intensity.

The band are also heading out on tour this March across Europe. The tour kicks off on March 23 in Enschede, NL and ends March 31 in Athens, GR.
