Hatebreed Announce 30th Anniversary Home Show
Hatebreed have announced that they will celebrate their 30th anniversary this March with their very special March Metal Matinee.
The show will take place Sunday, March 17 at 12 p.m. EST at Toyota Oakdale Theatre in Wallingford, CT. It will happen during the day, a throwback to the golden days of hardcore when the band used to regularly play matinee shows as staples of the local scene. Tickets are on sale now, and they’ll probably go fast, so grab them while you can.
This special show will feature Shadows Fall, Shadow Of Intent, 100 Demons, With Honor, Sworn Enemy, Dead By Wednesday, Eyes of the Living, and Demonscar. It’s also noteworthy that this will be Shadows Fall’s first Connecticut show in a decade, something fans will likely be chomping at the bit for.
Hatebreed frontman Jamey Jasta says about the March Metal Matinee:
“This will be a special one! Our biggest home state show ever, with a ton of awesome bands, and it’s [guitarist] Wayne’s 50th birthday! This is a throwback to the old hardcore/metal matinees we used to play in the mid ’90s. It will be a yearly event going forward as we’ll also be bringing back the March Metal Meltdown Festival to NJ in 2025. Can’t wait to see everyone there!”
Guitarist “Florida” Frank Novinec adds about the upcoming show:
“Thirty Years! What a milestone and nothing but gratitude for the fans all over the world for making it possible. We look forward to seeing you all in 2024. Most importantly in CT!”
Mark your calendar for this special date if you live in the area; this is going to be one to remember. And act fast, as this one will likely sell out fast.
