Dumbass Criminal Gets His Ass Kicked and Arrested Trying to Rob (HED)P.E.

There’s dumb criminals and then there’s whatever the guy pictured above laid out on the floor is. That’s the result of a man immediately proceeding from the “fuck around” to the “find out” phase, as he tried to single-handedly rob (HED)P.E.‘s tour bus and trailer loaded with people.

Now, if we’re going to be charitable, maybe he didn’t know the bus had a buncha people on it. But then that would mean the apparently lengthy casing effort the dude and an unknown number of other individuals did around the bus was for nothing. Because as soon as the guy broke into the bus and began trying to attack anyone in his way, he was immediately met with tour manager and ex-combat veteran Josh Edwards.

Things didn’t go well after that, as you can tell from the video of the aftermath, as well as the band’s retelling of how shit went down.

“We noticed that some guys were casing our rig and trailer at a Walmart. They were walking along the bus, taking too long to pass, and then doing repeated laps. A few minutes later one dude runs into the bus and swings on our crew guy. Thankfully our TM and crew man [Josh Edwards] is a combat vet and part superhero so he took him down and subdued him until the police arrived. Ed is the same guy who pulled a man out of a highway wreckage in a snowstorm after our Great Falls show.

“This tour has been a trip so far! Welcome to Cali haha! Chico is up tonight!”

Welp. We’re glad everyone is largely unscathed. Well, everyone but the guy that got his ass kicked and then carted away by local police, that is.
