Watch Corey Taylor Nearly Get Hit in the Head with a Slipper

TikTok is an odd slice of the internet. Full of memes, OnlyFans-slinging e-girls, and silly “challenges,” it’s a place that you either totally get or you’re completely out of the loop. One man in metal that’s might be in both camps is none other than Slipknot frontman Corey Taylor, thanks to his wife Alicia. Not only is he prominently featured in many of her clips, but a couple recent posts show the dude risking his neck (and head) by letting her throw a slipper at him.

Now, I know that sounds weird, but here me out. There’s a thing going on where Latina women knock shit off their spouse’s head with a slipper. Called the #ITrustMyLatinaWife “challenge,” of sorts, it plays on the idea that Latin American women are similar to Seal Team Six snipers when armed with a slipper — or chancla. As a child of immigrant parents, I know all too well the deadly accuracy of the chancla, though my Portuguese family called it something else, I think.

Still, as you see in the clip below, Alicia’s a natural, hitting a red Solo cup off her hubby’s head from all sorts of distances and while in motion.

It’s impeccable, which is great because while Corey tries to not look worried, you can see the sense of relief on his face when the first one connects.

And it turns out there’s a good reason for that relief, because Alicia also shared a blooper where things didn’t go quite as well. Let’s just say, that chancla met its actual intended target.

Of course commenters on both posts had a little laugh at the exchange, with some barely even realizing that they were watching the Corey Taylor participate in the challenge. Though during the blooper post, someone took a shot and simply said “That’s for Jay.” Fuckin’ loooooollll.
