Testament, Soilent Green, Exhumed, and More Added to Milwaukee Metalfest

It’s been less than a month since their last announcement, but Milwaukee Metalfest organizers are back at it again and announcing 11 more artists that will be tearing shit up next May.

With an apparent aim at making the festival a premiere destination for the world’s metalheads, the festival has added Testament, Hammerfall, Soilent Green (Reunion), Paleface Swiss, Exhumed, It Dies Today, Errors Of Humanity, Casket Robbery, Hellwitch, Belushi Speed Ball and Illusion of Fate to the already ridiculous lineup. The Rave/Eagles Club in Milwaukee will be bumpin’.

Co-organizer and Hatebreed frontman Jamey Jasta said the additions were in line with how the festival originally operated before it shut down back in 2004.

“The spirit of the original fest is alive, well and growing. People are traveling from all over the world to join us and the reaction to each line up addition keeps getting better. Now, with thrash legends Testament who have been our most requested band, power metal legends Hammerfall, Soilent Green reuniting, the new generation’s heaviest in Paleface Swiss, regional faves Casket Robbery and true old schoolers like Hellwitch, we are beyond stoked! Plus, you know Belushi Speedball & others will bring the party HARD. See you in Milwaukee next May!”

Along with those three days of sets, the festival will also feature a pre-party on Thursday, May 16.
