Lorna Shore’s Will Ramos Joined In Flames on Stage During Last Night’s Show

One of the coolest parts about going to live shows has to be when something completely unexpected happens. Maybe you get to hear your favorite guitarist take a different approach to your favorite solo or you find a new band to enjoy out of the tour’s supporting acts. But, sometimes a well-known musician from a band that’s not even on the bill hops up on stage to throw down with the headliners.

It was that last situation that took place at The Wellmont Theater in Montclair, New Jersey last night, as Lorna Shore frontman Will Ramos joined In Flames on stage. As a native of the Garden State, it makes sense that Ramos would make it to one of the few major venues to see the Swedish metal stalwarts on tour with Meshuggah and Whitechapel.

Ramos must have been back in the area after recovering from a long ass tour out in Europe that just ended on December 8. With In Flames coming up on the end of their current run and Lorna Shore getting ready for three shows closer to the holidays, maybe getting up there also serves as a bit of a warm up for Ramos, who’s also obviously a fan of Anders Fridén and the guys.
