In Flames, Arch Enemy to Co-Headline European ‘Rising From The North’ Tour
dalheads — get out your planners and start brushing up on your Swedish, because in a little less than a year, In Flames and Arch Enemy are going to tag team the continent with their ‘Rising From The North’ Tour.
In addition to the two aforementioned co-headliners, the 25-date run will also feature the Swedish melodic death metal intensity that is Soilwork. Kicking off on October 3, 2024 at the O2 Academy in Glasgow, Scotland, the tour will run through 25 dates across Europe, ultimately culminating at the Ice Hall in Helsinki, Finland on November 5, 2024.
As the frontman of one of the co-headliners, In Flames’ Anders Fridén said he was beyond thrilled to be able to announce next year’s tour dates and spend time with his fellow countrymen.
“Couldn’t be more excited to announce this tour. It’s been a long time coming and we are finally back together again on stage with our friends in Arch Enemy and Soilwork. We plan to bring you an unforgettable night of melody and mayhem! This is some of Sweden’s finest – a tour you simply should not miss!!!”
As a veritable hot spot for heavy metal throughout the region, Sweden’s been home to many of the artists we all enjoy. So according to Arch Enemy’s Michael Amott, it only makes sense that the tour would focus on his home country’s contributions to music.
“What an insane Swedish Metal extravaganza across Europe in 2024! We share a lot of history with In Flames and Soilwork, going all the way back to the very early days of Arch Enemy. We’re extremely stoked to be doing this special tour with our Swedish comrades – let’s go!!”
General admission tickets to the ‘Rising From The North’ tour will be available to purchase this Friday, November 24, but an exclusive fan pre-sale will kick off this Wednesday, November 22 at 10 a.m. CST.
