Metallica, Ghost, Slipknot Nominated for Best Metal GRAMMYs… Not Like It Really Matters
Here we are again. Another year, another GRAMMY nomination list that’s ultimately not going to mean shit. I mean, don’t get me wrong — whoever wins this thing will benefit from it greatly. Well, unless you’re Metallica, Slipknot, or really anyone that might have already won in the past… But hell, maybe Ghost can take one home for a fucking cover.
That’s right. Just moments ago the nominees for the 66th Annual Grammy Awards were announced and for the rock/metal/alternative categories, St. Vincent did the announcement. These particular awards never even really make it onto the main broadcast, so my telling you that the main ceremony will be televised live on Sunday, February 4, 2024 from 8 p.m. until 11:30 p.m. ET / from 5 p.m. until 8:30 p.m. PT from Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles is a moot point. Just as my telling you it will be shown on CBS and Paramount+.
