Some Assh*le Stole a Couple of Dying Wish’s Guitars
For musicians, having equipment stolen is the absolute worst, so our hearts go out to Pedro Carrillo of metalcore band Dying Wish, who was recently dealt a pretty significant blow when some dickhead broke into his car and stole a couple guitars.
According to a social media post by the band, some opportunistic asshole smashed Cariillo’s car windows were smashed in and an Enki case with two guitars in it was stolen. With the band set to go on tour soon, this sort of thing can be absolutely debilitating to those plans.
“Pedro’s car windows were smashed, and they grabbed his enki with two guitars. We leave for tour in a matter of days. Please let us know if you see these on any online marketplace or pawn shop. Thank you.”
Dying Wish have had a rough go of it in recent weeks. And while this theft is definitely a super shitty turn of events, It’s at least not as physically painful as when a glass shower door exploded all over the band’s vocalist Emma Boster back in August. She’s since recovered from her injuries, but damn it if that wasn’t a harrowing story.
Anyone with information about the whereabouts of Carillo’s missing guitars in the Pacific Northwest should reach out to the band or authorities.
