Capra Throw Down with “Silana” Performance
It’s one thing to listen to a new record, but it’s another thing entirely to watch that same band actually performing their new tunes. Earlier today, the Louisiana-based metallic hardcore act Capra gave fans a chance to enjoy the latter, as they dropped an uncut performance clip of their song “Silana” from their new album Errors, which came out today.
With zero cuts or video edit shenanigans in the final product, the video shared below gives a raw glimpse into the way Capra throws down when playing their material live. For bassist Trevor Alleman, being able to have the band highlighted as an LCY Uncut artist has long been a goal.
“Excited to finally share our LCY video for ‘Silana’, the final single off of our new record Errors out today. Doing a video with LCY has been high up on my to do list and I couldn’t be happier with the result. Huge shout out to Carlisle for creating an awesome space to help both the Birmingham scene and the bands that pass through. Thankful to be added to this library of ‘Uncut Videos’.”
Much like the rest of their new album, “Silana” is a perfect example of the band’s pissed off, yet groove-laden sound that we’ve come to expect.
With today’s release of Errors, guitarist Tyler Harper said he’s excited to see how fans and newcomers alike will react to the slate of new tunes.
“I’m so excited to finally put ‘Errors’ out into the world. We put everything we’ve got into this one. It’s been a long time coming and I can’t wait for everyone to get to know our music on a deeper level.”
Errors is out right now wherever you get your music these days. As for catching the band’s energy live, there are a handful of shows planned next month. You can check out those dates below.
