War Curse’s Latest Single “The Convoy” is a Driving Piece of Heavy Metal
After four years since the release of their last studio effort Eradication, Ohio-based metal band War Curse is returning with an entirely new slate of songs for the upcoming album Confession due out next month. And with a few live dates lined up later this month, the outfit put out a new single that’s sure to get you moving.
Titled “The Convoy,” this new single is a groove/thrash metal force that takes aim at all the power-hungry bastards that have made the world less fun to be in over the last few years. Guitarist Justin Roth elaborated a bit further:
“A number of prominent tyrants surfaced during the pandemic. Power hungry, seething scumbags who allowed their true colors to show. Very few private citizens had the will or the means to stand up to them. ‘The Convoy’ is a modern day battle hymn written for the people who risked their livelihood and reputations for our individual liberties. May every power drunk dictator one day find themselves at the end of a short rope.”
War Curse’s new album Confession will be released on October 20 via Metal Blade Records and Blacklight Media, but you can preorder your copy today. You can also catch ’em live with Armed For Apocalypse out in the U.S. west this November. You can check out the full list of dates below.
