The Callous Daoboys Continue “Pushing The Pink Envelope” with Their Latest Single
I’m gonna risk sounding like a broken record, but the following statement bears repeating — The Callous Daoboys fucking rule. Period. End stop. If you love it when your heavy music sounds like it’s taken a cocktail of Adderall, crystal meth, and an entire bottle of caffeine pills and you haven’t checked these mad lads and ladies out? You’re fuckin’ up.
At the stroke of midnight, the Atlanta-based six-piece dropped the music video for their latest single, “Pushing The Pink Envelope.” Just as they’ve done with their past efforts, including their previous single “Waco Jesus,” the band’s managed to put out another track that at one moment will get your body moving before giving you the the sonic justification to punch a hole in God.
We’re less than a month out from the release of their upcoming EP God Smiles Upon The Callous Daoboys. With only one track left on the EP, the last one’s likely to be a doozy.
God Smiles Upon The Callous Daoboys will be released on October 20 via MNRK Heavy / Modern Static Records, but you can preorder your copy today in a variety of formats. The band will also be performing at this weekend’s Furnace Fest down in Birmingham, Alabama before heading out on the road with Protest The Hero and Moon Tooth in October.
